Code of Practice for the International Recruitment of Healthcare Professionals

HealthConex are proud to full comply and subscribe to the World Health Organisation’s Code of Practice for the international Recruitment of Healthcare Professionals into England.

The purpose of this Code of Practice is to promote high standards of practice in the ethical international recruitment and employment of health and social care personnel and ensure all international recruitment is conducted in accordance with internationally agreed principles of transparency and fairness. Furthermore the Code helps to protect and promote health and social care system sustainability through international cooperation, ensuring safeguards and support for countries with the most pressing health workforce challenges.

In practical terms this Code means we must only actively recruit healthcare professionals from countries which do not appear on the RED or AMBER list . Those countries currently on the RED and AMBER list are as follows
